LEGAL BACK UP FOR STEALING.

I have noticed that in this clime the law surreptitiously back public officers who loots of millions,billions and even trillions of Naira while punishing the small thieves.this is most apparent in the high level corruption cases that our court is hearing, the very recent one is the case of bank frauds which are presently in court. one of the bank director was found guilty of misappropriation of depositors funds and all the sentence that our court can give him is to go to jail for six months, i cant see how this kind of sentence can stop people from using their position to steal public funds, funds which actually belong to tax payers of Nigeria. another dimension is now added to greed of people in position of power, it is now becoming fashionable for bank directors to misappropriation of depositors money and go away almost totally free while the depositors go home bankrupt and broke without hope of recovering their money back.

with the danger inherent in keeping money at home who then can we trust with our hard earn money, for it looks as if our law supports ooters of public Treasury and directors who loots bank funds.
