The dilema of selective justice in Nigeria,

Nigeria is more like a nation whose people believe that whatever they do once they go about praying in churches and in Mosques not to mention those whose priority is to visit occultist all our problems are solved.

What we forget or deliberately forget is that a country where their laws are made in such a way that the rich can steal, engineer Killings and still go away scotfree while those that are less privilege and even those who are innocent are locked up in prison for years without trial is heading towards self Extinction or how do we explain a situation where people that are in position of power whether in government establishment or private organization who embezzle billions of Naira are never prosecuted and where prosecuted are sentenced to a ridiculous prison terms and/or ridiculous plea bargain that leave a major amount stolen to the offender to go and enjoy after the person come out of prison.

This same rogues later comes out for elective posts using the public fund they stole when they were in public offices to buy the vote of the hungry masses. Therefore, a circle of unending poverty continues since those voted into public offices, such as our law makers are not interested in the development of the country. It even serve their wicked purposes to keep the citizen in state of poverty, illiteracy and lack and want so that the citizen will be too involved in how to get their daily bread for them to really take interest on how they are governed thereby allowing the rulers the free way to loot the treasury without any challenge from the citizen.

Let us not deceive ourselves that those that are shouting on our television enlightening us are getting to the majority of Nigeria Citizens because most of the time there is no electricity so all the effort of civil organization to enlighten people about their civic duty and the effect of selling their vote is defeated.

BLAME THE IINEFFECTIVEPURNISHMWNT METED OUT ON TREASURY LOOTERS IN NIGERIA ON THE JUDICIARY.

I am not one of those who believe that our judicial system, let even say that our judges are to blame for the inadequate punishment that the judges hand down to treasury looters while in some other country such an offense would have earned the offenders a more severe punishment including death sentences. sorry! do i hear you excaimed 'death sentences' offcause, death sentences because whosoever is put in charge of Tax payer's money and deep his or her hands in the till and those who share out of the stolen fund with them are all muderers for they should know that they have simply murdered billions of unborn children and are rendering the rest of the society poverty striken whych is why 90% of Nigeria population are poverty stiken because the mony that should have been used to generate Electricity which is the first and one of the major need for economic groth are in the bank account of some greedy and stupid individuals who think they are smart becaus our law is greatly defficint to be a deterrent on the thievs. That is why i will not blame the judges for they are only an interpreter of our laws, they work within the confine of our law.
so also will i not blame the lawyers who exploit the loopholes in our laws to either to wastw the time of the court or to save even the guilty and non guilty from the clutch of the consequences of the laws they supposedly violated, for i recognise that the lawyer is only doing his or her work.
it is left to the Legislators to make laws that people will think twice before they violate it.
